Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and your own.

2. What Foresome does

Foresome has two main parts:

• Tee-time search. We aggregate and display live tee-time information from third-party platforms (such as GolfNow, Chronogolf, ForeUp, and Club Prophet) and link you to those platforms to complete a booking. We do not sell, book, or guarantee any tee time. Reservations, payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled entirely by the third-party platform and the golf course.
• Partner finder. We let you create a golfer profile, browse and connect with other golfers, send match and join requests, message matched partners, post tee times others can join, and rate people after a round. Foresome is a venue for connecting golfers; we do not vet, endorse, or supervise users, and we are not a party to any arrangement you make with them.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at lukelee1188@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use and your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (your profile, posts, messages, and ratings), and you grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for your content, and you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or harm another person;
• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, fraudulent, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• Spam, solicit, advertise, or send unsolicited commercial messages;
• Submit false information, including fake profiles or fraudulent ratings;
• Attempt to access other users' accounts, scrape or overload the Service, or interfere with its security or operation;
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.

5. Meeting other golfers — safety and assumption of risk

Foresome helps you find and arrange to meet other people in person. Interacting with and meeting strangers carries inherent risks, and you assume those risks. We do not conduct background checks, verify identities, or otherwise screen users. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.

For your safety, we strongly encourage you to:

• Meet in public places, especially the first time;
• Tell a friend or family member where you are going and with whom;
• Use your own judgment and end any interaction that feels unsafe.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Foresome from any claims, demands, and damages arising out of your interactions or meetings with other users.

6. Third-party platforms and tee-time data

Tee-time information is provided by third parties and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Availability and prices can change at any time and are confirmed only when you book on the third-party platform. We do not warrant the accuracy of any tee-time data and are not responsible for the third-party platforms, their content, their availability, or any transaction you enter into with them. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, and branding (excluding user content and third-party data), is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any tee-time information is accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Foresome or Luke Lee be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or your interactions with other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Foresome and Luke Lee from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
